As a technology recruiter, we recognize BMC Software as one of the most successful IT sales organizations in the world and when we had the opportunity to work with this business it further emphasizes the importance of our process and delivering against a difficult requirement. 

 

The services market in most organizations has grown considerably. Not just post-sales services but actually selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to end-users. It's a trend that will continue as more flexibility, reduced upfront costs and fast-growth business can adapt to a very dynamic market. 

 

The challenge with the hire was finding an Account Executive that has had multiple years of successful experience selling services to Enterprise customers and someone that is the best in their field. BMC Software needed an independent, enterprise focussed services sales specialist, that had over-performed YoY. We needed someone that understood the software sales process intricately and wasn't coming from a large conglomerate.

Results:

  • High Performers identified, approached and qualified 52 candidates from 30 different companies within a 2 week period.

  • We were able to share critical feedback to speed up the hire and catalogued all our discussions for any future reference

  • Placed a high-performing sales exec into the Services team at BMC
